Quick headlight question

I just bought a 2017 busa. Will a headlight from a 2008 fit? I have a leftover 2008 headlight I want to do a a projector retrofit into. Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge the gen 2 all through and through share the same assembly but I am sure some gen 2 owners will chime in
