Question about Tail extension with longer arm

I'm looking at getting an Evil swing arm 8-12. And was wondering which catalyst tail I should get. Would the +4 tail work with the arm?

Here is a pic of my bike stretched now, stretched about 8" or so with stock tail.

FWIW, I went with a +8 tail and was only stretched 6".

I just finish installing mine. I'm ten over and I went with the +6 tail and the tail and the tire lines up perfect in the back
