Question about boots and pants

I just bought a pair of Sidi Vertebra boots and some Dainese P103 pants. My question is...How in the heck am I supposed to get the boots zipped with the pants tucked in? Can't zip them down around the outside of the boot either!! This is frustrating to spend 600 bucks and not have a good fit. The pants fit great without the boots and the boots fit great without the pants.

38 pants 44 boots. My wife helped me, last night, get the boots completely zipped up. after walking around the house for about 1/2 hour, I could zip and unzip a little easier. I went ahead and wore them today on the Sunday ride and they seem to be fitting in there better.
