thanks... they both lived long and enjoyable lives though, that made it easier to let them go.
house with a yard is a must, i had an austrailian shep/blue healer mix, and a leonberger/german shep mix, both were wonderful dogs, but also required lots of running room, the leonberger/german weighed over 90 pounds in his prime, and could easily cruise at 35 to 40 mph, i like big dogs, and a dog like that would go nuts in my 900sq ft place...
