Pull motor for head and jug replacement?

Do I need to pull the motor to replace the jug, head and cams?

Looking at some random pictures it may be possible , but over all the work lost by pulling the motor will increase time / ease to do block / head / cams .
Once out of the bike on a stand or bench its so easy compared to in the frame .

agree with above. You would spend more time fighting with it in the bike than time to pull the motor.

It's tight, especially squeezing the head back in snug between the frame mounts...but I've never pulled an engine.

The jug isn't so bad, but MUCH easier with an extra set of hands.

Like others have said, I'm sure it's much easier to work on when sitting on a stand vs in the frame...
