I'm 6'0" and the stock shield cut the view of the dash in half...

Nice, I struggled like mad to replace the grommets the first time. Lube is key as you said. Plus, I like to lose the little pins that hold the little dash piece in. I found the exact replacements at AutoZone and bought a pack! My fairings eat everything I drop that small. Once it drops, I never find it! It's a monster!

You will love the diffrence with the DB, cuts the wind by a ton,, looks good man hope your enjoying this weather, it's 70 down here in conway, cloudy skies which mean a perfect day to ride... cant wit to see it inperson, next time im up that way i'll give ya a ring...

At 6'1 it does. I kept leaving my turn signals on because I couldnt see them flashing...put the DB on and havent forgot to turn them off yet Plus, I dont have to duck down to see how fast I'm going.
