Problems synch'n throttle bodys.

I left my bike at the shop for a few last minute things before leaving for Daytona, (new back tire,choke cable,battery) the tech. returned after road test and wanted to make sure throttlebodys were balanced properly but could'nt get'um right. He just called to say he found 1 bent butterfly. He's getting one from a new bike still in the crate and will call me asap. Anyone else heard of this?

cant say ive heard of that, for them to bend something would have had to get stuck in there. like a stick i would imagine, sounds a little wierd

I heard of that happening but just to high HP setups...Has to do with the backfire and/or redlining...Should not be a major issue on a stock bike...Has the bike been running irregularly jumping throughout the rev range???

It backfired a couple times after slip-ons installed. But its probably just the rider. Only Kidding!!

My dealer does the same thing...They'll swap a part from a brand new bike in a heartbeat...

yep we did too. but you can not buy a throttle blade
