Problem with front running light mod

Has anyone done the front running light mod listed here: I followed the instructions for the Involved but bright method and I’m still having problems. When I turn the key to the on position, the indicator lights do light up, but they don’t flash when I hit the turn signal switch. I really don’t want to call it quits, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

The rear indicator lights light up too is this supposed to happen or is it just the front?

Thanks for responding, it looks like I was reading the diagram incorrectly. I found the problem and fixed it. Everything’s working perfect now.
