Got my new starter today, got it installed, tuned it up and changed the oil.Bike fired right up and sounds awesome. Now for my ecu remapping and removal of the air tubes. Is 1500 rpm right for idle??Cant wait to get out and ride.

Congrats on getting her running again, I don't believe there is any better sound than a Busa firing up! I usually keep mine around 1300 rpm but don't know exactly where the book says it should be. The Busa I was riding this morning was idling around 1000-1100 and didn't act like I wanted when taking off from a stop. It will be tuned up and running right soon though.

I will set it around 1200.I got rid of the crankcase breather hose and put on a filter and blocked the airfilter box hole. Now for some block off plates for the pair valves and reflash the ecu.
