Those Bandits are heavy beasts, I took 30 or so lbs off my 1200 and it was still pretty heavy...the biggest saving was the exhaust.

Her bike is a 600 ,and in the last few weeks I've taken 9 pounds off so it's around 460 lb wet now

Not too bad, make it a little more manageable....mine was a bit under 500 lbs according the scale at the recycling center of all places. The guy I just sold it to can't get over how torquey that thing is. I had it dyno tuned when I set up the jetting so the fuelling is spot on. I kind of miss it until I go into the garage and see the Bumblebee sitting there, that feeling goes away.
