Headed out before the sun to get some shots of the new lighting mods.
Clearwater Lights - still as awesome as ever. They just came out with a brand new DARLA light kit that's over TWICE as bright in the same size 2" housing- rated at over 2000 lumen. The original CWL are just 700.

Headlight sent off to SportBikeLites.com to put twin LED rings in.
And my new LED Fog Lamps. Just 1" diameter 3 watt mini-lights.
Mount anywhere. I put them inside the Air Intakes wired to a PMR Bar Switch.

There are all different types of extra lights. So we recommend riders first decide on the type of lighting they want first. Then go to that category of lights.
The mini-LED 1" don't light up the road any, not at 3 watts, but they are super-bright, have a parabolic lens (wide beam spread) and you can see the bike coming at you. So for that purpose, exactly what I was looking for.
If you want to see really far down the road, get a HID Headlight for your motorcycle. Those have gotten very inexpensive. If you do lots of night riding or seeing animals, the Glenda are good. The Krista are even better. Plus I'd be mounting the lights at the level of the mirrors and use the CWL Krista lights instead for that purpose. The Krista are 5x brighter than the ones I have.
