Drew don't like to ride lead, so if he was with his brother, he might of seen it happen, making it even worse..if possible..

I'm beyond sad and feeling helpless. Many of you have offered to help in any way needed. :rayer for Nate::
Because brain swelling doesn't peak for 72 hours and Nate's only 20 1/2 hours in, he has a long way to go. When he came back from surgery this morning and had been off morphine for a little bit, he made purposeful movements with his arms, legs, and coughed (from having tubes down his throat). He was also able to open his eyes briefly. He'll be sedated, have pain killer drips, tube fed directly into his stomach, mechanically ventilated, and all the other life saving amenities for an uncertain time period.
