Practice Launch RPM

That’ll come with practice. But certainly you’ll need to slip the clutch then be full throttle by the tree.... that’s the real key to good times

Depends on your style. If you keep the rpms constant during the launch, a lower rpm will require quicker opening of the throttle. I've been successful between 3500 and 6000 with my favorite rpm being 5500 on the tach.

When I was running the stock clutch, I launched at 7800, though mine is turbocharged and I was looking for boost at the line.

Thinking about running
my stock 2002 Hayabusa
down the 1/4 atIsland
drag way this summer .

I was wondering what RPM
I should practice leaving at ?

With a bone stock Hayabusa I would try street legal for $20 . . .

Then you will have one of the fastest vehicles there *

Start with a sticky tire and a short burnout .

Put the tach at @ 3,500 for starters.

Just get some seat time first .

Then tell us a bit more .

Are you heavy ?

Red, *<(;{)-
