Working on a better way to have reliable power. I formed some brackets today for a switch and usb outlet. Going to paint it black and I think I will mount the switch on the fairing under the handle bar. The switch is because I hear that lithium batteries don’t like a slow drain. What do you think?

I would mount them in tail section, and run a cord to the location you need. Will look cleaner. Lots of room in rear turn signal pods

As c10 said, you really need to protect them from the weather, in the tail section is a better location for sure.
