I have a friend that has a 99' busa can model. Just put in a set of Yoshimura stage 1 cams. He broke them in to 600 kms while keeping it under 6k rpms. Once over 6,000 rpms it lurches and bucks badly.

Took it back to the shop all sensors checked out fine. fuel line, fuel filter, everything is ok. He ran it up in 3 gears when it gets to 6k rpm it bucks so bad he let off. The bike has not been over 6k rpms since the cams were installed. Does anyone have any ideas that might help?
Thanks in advance, Bill

Open it back up and check that the cam chain is on right. If it is off it will run just not right. I talk from experiance. Mine was off a tooth when I bought it and here is the Dyno run before and after getting it fixed.

Have you had a chance to look into this yet?  If so what did you find?
