From what I know, you can't put a PC5 on an 05 Busa with or without the autotune. PC5 is for 08 and newer.

Unfortunately this will not work on your Busa. As mentioned in a previous post, PC5 will only work on a 08 or newer. You will need to stay with a PCIII. You have two options as I see it.

1. Buy yourself a 08 or newer Busa

2. Stick with the PC III

yeah I was thinking to grab the PCV but after reading this thread i'm kind of hesitant, did you modified you sockets or was it plug and play? I understand that there are some wiring differences between the first and second generation hayabusa.

Noticed Power Commander website PC III USB now changes upto PC5 part number when you check what fits 02-07 Hayabusa. Looks like they are phasing out the older units

PcV is plug and play on 02-07. I have an 05 with one on it. Works fine and maps can be converted. There's also the maps on the pc site already switched for the pc5

Is this a typo? This site is advertising the PCV for '02-'07 busas? I have read everybody's threads and know that you guys know what you're talking about. I guess it may be wishful thinking, but maybe its right?
