power and ground for radar

where is a good power and ground for a radar detector?

I was thinking about tapping off the headlight.

to the oRg If you have a 99-2007 model there is a brown wire in the nose you can use and from memory any blk with white tracer is negative.

You can always run a cigar lighter with a few feet of cable directly from the battery.

In that case, there should be an accessory plug in the nose behind the cluster. Or, you can tap the marker light circuit located on either side of the headlight.

On the gen 2 with my harness you unplug one of the 2 small lights above the headlight, and plug my harness inline.

Yeah I bought that accessory harness from Boost by Smith to install my Adaptive 2.0 radar detector. Works flawlessly with no issues
