Polished wheels

hi all i am thinking of having my wheels polished on my busa, the thing is, is it best to have them clear lacquered to protect them or to leave them just polished. I was going to do my swing arm as well but am in to minds to lacquer them.

Any advice would b a great help in this matter.

Polishing anything should be followed with a protective coat or you will spend forever trying to keep it clean.

+1 if you don't put on a protective coating they will a B!tch to keep them sparkling

Obviously I have, I hate cleaning and never polished because of it.

Now I use meguires fast wax and thats it.

I may polish once a month if that.

This is about 2 months with no polish and regular riding.
