Well aftyer the big rain we had the night before looked like they were going to have to canceal the event. But after a couple hours of pumping water off the return road and some track drying the event was great. Alot less people then last year think they were scared off by the rain and the 60% chance of rain forecasted.
But then again this is Kansas. Got a call from a friend that was raining about 7 miles south of us but never did at the track. Was great meeting the professor and his wife. Wish I would have remember the camera but all in all was great even. Can't wait to meet them again when we head to noble for the event in July.

Troy,
No problem. I didn't see you toward the end. I didn’t have my head on right I guess. Lost in the Quarter finals in Street E/T. Basically gave it to him. I was dialed @10.29 he was in @ 10.39 I cut a .0095 (.5095) light on him against his .7139, Yep, I left before he did. I chopped the throttle at the end because he was so far back. Too much as he passed me in the lights. How much is .0245 margin of error @ 120 or so? Not much, not near as much as the margin of error between my ears! I couldn’t believe I did it. I’d had some fluke runs where I launched harder than normal and ran 10.21 and 10.24. I red lighted my way out of Pro E/t in the 2nd round. I pulled the bike in too deep. Red lighted first round in S-ET bought back in. Cut a .0006 light (no, there is not a extra 0 in there) in the second round. Got the Bye in the third because of the light. I think my other light was a .0116. I’m going to have to back off the tree a bit.

All in all wasn’t too bad. I couldn’t get hooked to the track at all. Ended up dropping to 11.5 lbs of air in the tire and really put some heat in it to get a bite. I’m used to 22lbs and a little burnout.
