Well, these came yesterday and it seems that, for me anyway, I made a good decision on these stands.  They work very well for me.  Now I can get on with the rest of my winter mods as soon as the Hindle and a whole bunch of other stuff gets here from Charles.

Any issue with the front stand contacting the fender? I want a front stand but I had read a few posts about how hard it was to get them under the steering head without whacking the fender. Maybe it's just on lowered bikes though.

Speaking from my own experience, I just lay a towel on the front fender while I slide the stem in and out. I can see where it would get REAL tight if the bike was lowered much but otherwise I've had no problems.

As for the pic.........Damn, put some clothes on that thing........we don't allow that kind of porn here.

She is "necked" ain't she... I just ordered my Hindle today (along with a bunch of other stuff) and I had to undress her cause I'm going to start taking the exhause off tomorrow. So long Yoshi bolt on's.. make way for Gen III.

Oh, as for clearance, it is mostly just an issue with lowered bikes. I actually started to take a picture of mine tonight to show that, at least on my bike, the clearance isn't even close! There is at least one full inch between the nose and the stand. Room to spare!

I have pit bull stands for the front and back and the only problem I heard about that front stand is trying to remove the front tire. I thought about this post last night when I pulled my wheels for a tire change.

Note: I've never tried to remove a front wheel with that stand, it's just what I heard when I purchased mine. Please let me know if I'm wrong on this.

Hi Dan, Well that makes two of us... I haven't tried yet but I guess we're gonna find out! Let me know if you do it first. Bob

I just changed my front tire. All you need to do is take the screws out of the front fender so it can raise up so the wheel can come out. No problem.

Well if that's the case then that type is a better overall stand. With mine Ican remove/replace the wheel fine, but if I had to drop out the forks I'm screwed. Oh well...

I've got the under the fork stand......

I think this is the third or fourth time I've posted this pic today.....Oh well
