Pingle electric shifter

I have the chance to get a pingle shifter setup for a good price. Problem is, it's for 99-07...and I have an 08. Anyone know if the diferences are signifigant? I know pingle shows different part numbers, but it may be worth modifying this one for the price. I havent heard back from Pingle...for some reason I think they're more interested in selling new units.

I had one for my 2007 Busa. The pingel electric shifter caught fire. Since the install was from a dealer, Pingel sent them a new one. Once installed, it worked great. FYI!!!

Heard back from Pingle, electronics are incompatible and bracket different. $400 + to convert. Guess Ill save up for a new one.

I would rather have an air shifter, unless you need it for medical purposes.
