Hey guys! Recently traded in my 2002 for a 2008 Blue/Gold busa. I bought a set of pingel wheelie bars (WITHOUT the mounts for the bike) and a pingel strut from a guy who got rid of his 1st gen busa.
Will these items work on my 2nd gen? Is there a way to set them up to work? I noticed on the pingel wheelie bars for the 2nd gen it looks like both mounting points mount on the swing arm whereas the 1st gen wheelie bars look like they mount on the swing arm AND on the frame.
I guess if the 2nd gen wheelie bars BOTH mount on the swing arm I wouldn't really NEED to use the strut every time I use the bars, right?
If I can't get these wheelie bars and strut to work, is anyone interested in buying them so I can get the 2nd gen wheelie bars?
Also, does anyone know if i can order just the mounting brackets for the 1st gen wheelie bars?
