i am what you may call a computer enthiausiast...currently i am dinking around with water cooling and have had some great success. I have overclocked a e6400 cpu to 3.2 gigs with a load temp of 48 degrees with a room temp of about 21 degrees c. Anyway, i have stumbled across this idea and was wondering if anyone around here had any input?

Interesting. Very cool if not SCARY. Will the oil ever get hot enough to matter and if so, how do you go about cooling it? Who's going to cleanup the mess if something goes wrong?

I'll stick with air.
Older 3.4ee, 4 gigs ddr 400, 2 raptors, 800xt pe, zalman's on the cpu and card. Need a bigger PS so to push it harder.

(Im currently painting the case...ill post pics when im done)
Any who i was wondering if anyone has tried this oil cooling thing out and its long term effects on parts?

after 15 years of being with my better half she has taught me to clean up after myself ....took her a minute but what ever

i noticed you are running 4 gigs ddr 400....running vista? ( xp only utilizes 3gig) what kinda power supply are you running? You shouldnt need a whole lot i wouldnt think. As far as air goes i think zalman is the king..i had good results with my zalman coolers. About those raptors....they are fire hazards...but if you ship them to me ill be sure to put them in a safe place so nobody gets hurt

I thought XP only shows 3?. 450, I did have it up to 3.82 before everything started disagreeing, was pushing the memory and card at the same time, I know it's the PS. Going to keep settings normal for now, runs fast and cool as-is, want to start on something new with more currant hardware but nothing like the monster you described.
Don't mind the other Busa heads, they probably spend more on aftermarket parts and talk to
