Michelin is dominating in wins by riders on their tires.
You asked (ungramatically) "Has the French ever made anything worth a damn?" and the answer I was giving you was that obviously they do a damn fine job of making motorcycle tires, in competition against the best in the world. Who wins at your local track doesn't seem quite as relevant as the best riders in the world racing on the best bikes made.
By the way, I run Qualifiers and have no fondness for the French.
