Hey Swan, glad to see you made your way back here. I don't know if you remember, but you and i talked briefly at Laguna Seca. I had on a Hayabusa hat and you asked me if i rode one.. we talked for a few minutes but didn't get a chance to exchange any info.. You asked me if i knew Rickster (from LA) and i told you i knew her from the LABusas website.

Damn girl, you got it going on!!! I checked out your website and have been reading your posts.. i just got back in town from being gone for the Holidays.. you got me ready to pack up and head out to BC to ride and hang out with you and your friends.. I don't know too many females that ride Busa's but we are definetly a rare breed. plus the fact that you've got a major hangout for riders at your Cafe is just killing me!! it doesn't get much better than that!!!

I am in Northern Calif (San Francisco) and will be in Laguna in July. and from what i can tell i will probably be in BC in August too with Thinker and Cache and whoever else will be heading that way. i am going to try and talk my sister in to coming with me. I LOVE TWISTIES!!!! when you were describing the twisties out your way, i was SOLD!!!

i am sorry this is so long, but you got me all excited about coming up your way girl!!! i have many friends here in the Bay Area who all ride Busas but i am the only female. i have a 99 gray/black (fastest color). my sis rides a ZX12 and we hang out together. when you come to Laguna, if you pass through the Bay Area, we have got to hook up and ride. i would love to show you and your friends how we do it in the Yay Area........

i will post a pic of me and my bike to try and jog your memory when i get a chance... once again, it's great to see you back on the board and i can't wait til we can ride together...

PEACE..... LoBusa

Hey Lo-Busa,
So glad to hear from you. I totally remember talking to you. I was losting hope but my faith is again sparked. Hey girl,
I want you guys to come on up. Doesn't matter how, many we've room for all of you. You'll love it. I live right by the beach and the social area. We're not much of a party town but our roads are incredible. Right now I've got to run out for a friends party but write more when I get back. So glad to hear from you again. I'm dying to ride with you. You're my busa sister.

To many trips, to far apart, not enough vacation time.  Man this stinks.  East Coast, West Coast, Up north I just can't handle it.
Anybody got a spare bike I can use so I can just fly there?

Let me rephrase that. Anybody got a spare BUSA I can use so I can just fly there?

You mentioned that you had a racing license now?? do you have a track up that way?? i just recently did my first track day and it was awesome!! it really improved my riding skills and helped me become even more comfortable with my bike... i am a Busa junkie girl and from what i see you are too!! we will get along just great!!

Badzxeleven, what's up playa??? i'm not gone, just went away for the holidays! it was great but i missed my second family here... and missed riding my baby.. came home and it has been non stop rain here (Cali) and i am going crazy!!! i gotta go for a spin soon or else........

Good morning to all of you,
Last night we were out with for our monthly party night at a place called Rugby's. There were about 18 riders that came out. It was a great time. It was Donny's GSR1000 birthday. It was such a great time. I wish you guys lived closed because all of you could of come. Anyhow, that's the kind of things we try to promote....lots of socializing.
LoBusa,
Girl, it is so good to hear from you. When I see you at Laguna we can work out all the details. I thought I could ride down and met you guys at the border or someplace else, like Starbucks in Bellingham. That way I can escort all of you to my place. I don't want any of you getting lost in Vancouver.
Hey, when you get here, I'll be taking tons of pictures of you, not just in front of the busa mural, but on our awesome trip that I'm going to take you on.
The weather right now in Vancouver cold....but SUNNY.
Wish you all were here.
My website for the flying swan is down. I got to get to the server but log onto vrombc.com if you've got time. Have fun all of you and I want you to know, I'm totally excited!!!

Hi Havoc,
We've got a long weekend planned for May. I'll post it when I get the details down on a map. Hope to met you soon. Are we going to see you in Laguna next year?

Hi havoc,
No worries, a trip to Vancouver might be closer and cheaper and the way to go for this year. The roads here are beautiful. I'm pretty sure you'd have a good time. I'll get that map finished and post it soon.
LoBusa,
I forgot to answer one of your questions. I got my racing license April 2002. It was an incredible experience. We have a track in BC. It's not in Vancouver but in Mission. It's called the Mission Track. It's a very technical track. There's a lot of hairpins, tight decreasing corners and very little straights. You won't ride this track like Portland or Seattles. You need some skill to ride these tracks otherwise you're crashing. I've learned alot but there's still alot to learn. I'm going to track to race this year again, but it might be tight. Because I have alot of weekends planned for rides. It might be hard to stay in town for the races. I glad to hear you were on the track. I rode the Laguna track this year and I can tell you this is an fast track. Big sweepers, long straights, wide track, Mission track is totally different. Very little straights, hairpins, tight corners, decreasing corners, and uneven pavement. Scary..huh..yes, but you learn alot about yourself. Here's a picture of me.

Hey Swan, YOU GO GIRL!!! I am going to buy a track bike this year. The Busa was cool on the track but not ideal. Plus if i turfed it i would be so upset!! Laguna Seca is an awesome track huh?? i was on it for the fan appreciation lap last year at the races, but i have never done a track day on it. the restrictions were too much for my bike. (no aftermarket pipes due to noise restrictions) i'm hoping once i get a track bike i can check it out!! my track day was at ThunderHill, lots of huge sweepers (great for the Busa), but also a few tight "S" turns with increasing and decreasing radius. it was awesome, i am hooked!!

Anyways, here's a pic of me and my Busa. the first one is pre-polished. the second one is after i got it hooked up!!

Holla girlfriend!!

LoBusa,
What a great picture. You look so hot on that bike. The problem now is how can we all live closer, so we can all hang out together. Oh well, maybe it's safe this way.
My little 600 is my track bike. I dumped it once in the hairpin going too hot, so you're right, if it were my busa I would be crying the blues.
I want to do the track again next year if I can...but there's really not enough weekends. Track days are idea for learning. I totally try to encourage trackdays for everyone. Our bike community here is pretty small compared to California and we only have one little track so the more people we have doing it the better. Otherwise, we'd lose it. Well, you be at Laguna, and what hotel are you staying at?

O.K. Thinker,

Sounds like you're trying to pull me into this one huh? As much as I would love to, I just live entirely too far away. My plans for next year are to make it to Myrtle Beach and Laguna Seca. I don't know how much more strength I will have left after the trip to Laguna. The only way I could make that trip is to add that one along with the Laguna trip. Very tempting, but I may have to pass. Don't rub it in man, you all have it so good out there on the West Coast.
