A Piece of rubber fail off when doing an oil change. im sure that its somewhere close to the tank. can you please take a look at the picture and confirm ?

Need to see other angles. There are some pieces of rubber that run along the bottom of the gas tank.

It's not the ones that go on the side.... theu are both there .. not sure where this one came from.

It goes on the unpainted piece of fairing. If you pull your fairing back off you can see where there is a rectangle molded into the fairing that it fits in.
