Performance Throtle Bodies

Hi guys, Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between Gen2 and Gen 1 throttle bodies, I have been offered a Gen2 BILLET AT throttle bodies, to upgrade my engine. but mine is a Gen 1
Is there a difference? If so what? Is it worth the fuss?

Spacing is different ,wiring is different,eight injectors intead of 4 etc

Gen2 also has secondary throttle plates, controlled by the ecu.
The gen1 does not. They will not interchange.
