I've been hearing that the power commander for our bikes really may not be worth it cause we already having the housing for the re-map with any exhaust. That's a lot of many for something I can do with the equipment already offered. I could put that money towards or tire or cosmetics. Is remapping just as good through stock housing or is this power commander worth the 300 it's gonna cost me. I have an 02:super:? Help me out fellas, the local dealer swares it's not worth it, I can get the same production from the stock unit. I'm in N.C., and we run hard down here.

one thing....the dealer mapping it is fine....works the same as the pc.  BUT and a big BUT if you get it mapped for the stuff you've done for it by the dealer and it runs great and you never change anything else then do it.  BUT and here is where its worth it.  If you get a pc you can map it yourself or download maps off the net whenever you change something. So say you get exhaust and get a map or map it for that.  Then in a month or two or even a year you add cams, small box mod, pair removal, different air filter you can get maps for all that stuff.  If you were to let a dealer do it I think Johnny Cheese charges $200 a time to have it mapped....so getting it mapped twice by the dealer already pays for a pc plus $100 cash in your pocket....you decide......I'll always stay with the pc!!!!!!

SPELLING?
Sorry, cool set-up and a good selection of maps. However, if there is not a map already out for your set-up or you don't feel comfortable tuning yourself, it will get expensive on a dyno. I have a PCIIIR on my 03' and like it!  :D
