PC3R Issues??

My '02 has been sitting for about five months now while it went through a restore. I finally went to start it for the first time today and no go. The FI light went on and no fire. I tracked all my steps looking for a loose connection but there was none. So I disconnected the PC3R and presto! fired right off.
This PC3R was on the bike when I bought it and it started and ran fine before the restore process. I never disconnected anything other then the airbox sensors, Pair system and the lights.

Does the PC3r loose its program after not being connected to the battery for a long period of time? I don't have a map for my application or a serial/USB cable for my laptop to check.

No, it should not cause a "no-fire" issue. It should maintain the last map that was installed in it.

I had one go bad that did the same thing. No one believed me either. Its electronic, it can fail.

Is there any way to test if the PC is still good?

Check the ground cable. When I mean check it I mean follow it back to the harness from the power commander.

if it a R just unplug the pluser wire and leave the injectors connected.

It has to do with the timing part not the fuel part

No go on the timing lead or the ground.
It's just shot
