PC II question

I just purchased my 01 busa last sunday. I noticed today that the PCII has a yellow bar that runs up and down on the display. Question is,it sits at the bottom lean and as you blip the throttle it rises to about midway and then settles at the lowest lean bar. Should it run in the middle of the graph 0, instead of lean. I didn't recieve any paper work or manuals with the bike, and don't know if the yellow bar is relevent or not. Also, it has an off idle to about 3,000 rpm hesitation,surge,erratic running thing going on. Can this be helped?.

Yep, that's a PCII all right! The yellow bar is the throttle position. So, as you twist the wick it goes up and when you let off it goes back down. The hestitation and erratica are normal for the PCII. You need to get the right map and make sure the throttle position sensor is correct. You can all be eliminate this flat spot, but it will take some work. Best is to take it to a good shop and have it dyno-tuned!
