Met up with Loomis (Jon), his beautiful fiancee and his next door neighbor Jason.
Weather cooperated nicely, no rain, lots of sunshine. My son woke up by himself at 6:30 knowing we were going riding. Official count was 1005 bikes showing up - everything from trikes to sidecars to sport bikes and of course cruisers. The 1 hour drive was along nice country roads with police escort so we were able to run every stop light and sign!
Wish it was always like that. *sigh*

Oh, I almost didn't make it! While putting new rubber on last night, noticed that rear pads were a bit worn around 7PM. No bike shops are open and we were leaving first thing in the AM. In a desperation move, I went to Autozone. I drove up and saw two guys outside, I asked from my window if they had MC brake pads. One says no, the other says maybe.
I go inside and they have pads listed as in stock on their computer! Sweeeet! They can't find any though. They check with another store and they did have the pads! $29.95 for the rear set semi-metallic! Here are the old pads.
