Pashnit Coast Range Motorcycle Tour

Can't tell you how pleased I am to be back touring on a Hayabusa.

Been awhile since I posted up some trip pics.

This is now Year 16 of running the tour business. Majority of these rides have been done on a Hayabusa. I have probably ridden 15 other motorcycles on these tours, but keep coming back to this one.

Here's some pics from the Coast Range Pashnit Tour, starts in Napa, and runs up along Lake Berryessa, back to Calistoga and then out to the Pacific Coast via some very twisty roads like Hwy 175 and Hwy 253. The temps drop 30 degrees as we leave the Napa Wine Country behind and head into the coastal redwood forests and finally pop out at Point Arena.

That tiny little Triumph next to mine is the new Speed Twin- it's a 1200 and corners like on rails.

Wet cold misty morning along the coast. It's a fog that's so heavy, it's like rain. But it isn't raining.

Comptche-Ukiah Rd - one of the best hidden gems on the Mendocino Coast

Zero traffic, non-stop twisty. All downhill. Lush. And yes, it's new pavement.

Hana rode down from Canada for this tour - for the second year in a row.

Highway 20 - another super fun super fast ride that flows over the Coast Range from Fort Bragg to Willits

Coast Range - Pacific Ocean is just over the hill.

Branscomb Rd has a narrow one-lane section through the redwoods down a mountainous finger dropping several thousand feet in a couple miles. Swoopy and great fun.

Then on Hwy 1 back over the Coast Range Mountains on the Leggett section. It's 22 miles non-stop of this.

It's not the camera. Everybody knows that.

But since you asked, i've got an ole Sony A55 with 28-200mm lens. I'll use the iPhone 6s, but the camera is not so great on there compared to the real camera.

The joke is on me though cuz nobody has real cameras anymore.
