PAIR blocking plates

could this mod be performed on a stock motor / stock bike? what would the pro's and con's be of doing this mod at all?

make them yourself, go to home depot or lowes where they have the small selection of metal (angle iron, aluminum, etc.) Buy a piece of the 3/4" wide aluminum flat bar for about $3 and come home and measure the bolt pattern from the original bolt holes on the engine. Oh yea, you need a little high temp red silicone.

If you want add a little more piece of mind, you can do what I did. Cut the flanges off the PAIR valve tubes, smooth them down, bolt then on over the aluminum plates that you make. Works great lasts long time.

but what exactly is this mod for? What does it do for your bike? And what would it do for a stock bike? Needing more info please.

Its for emissions, you do not need it. If your bike is completely stock, leave it alone. Its not worth the hassle w/o changing nothing else IMO
