PAINTING SWINGARM??

If i paint a swing arm satin black will it stay on?? I know there is powdercoating but I called around and the cheapest I found in my area was a buck thiry.

Epoxy base paint if pretty tough. It will stay if properly prepped and is chip resistant

Paint will stay. Just put a couple good coats of clear over it!

Like any paint, it will get stone chips in it.

Pay the money and have it powder coated.  Paint will chip off.  Or, you can shop around and get a used black swing arm for under $100.00 I bet.  I had someone give me one.

it's not a stock arm (14" over), just trying to save a few bucks!!

I would powder coat it or replace it with a black one. I bought a used black swingarm $50 shipped. They are pretty cheap on ebay.

Geeze man, 14" over? You doing some serious racing? Anyway, powder coating is the way to go. Trust me, I've been down this road many times.
