Painted hump

I had cut the original hump so I could run the grab bar, then decided to get another, so I could run it both ways. The one I bought was a different color, so, since I was getting it painted anyway-

Sorry, I forgot to plug the painter. www.viciouscycles.org

Hump looks cool.

Skulls are great when used accordingly ( not meaning to step on any toes), but maybe use your imagination and come up with something less used??  Maybe something that ties it to your bike??  If you cant do airbrush find someone who can and have them do a mural.

Maybe a local college art class project??

Each to his own.

Very nice! Was that airbrushed over the OEM paint and then clear-coated?

The painter mixed up some "stock" colors. My bike is a black/purple '04, and the original hump is purple. The one I bought was grey.

I had him paint it purple on the sides, and black with blue flake on the top. Then airbrush and clearcoat.

The angle makes the purple look light in the pic, but it's not.
