Paint vs Powder coat

I was wondering who has used automotive paint on there wheel's and how it would hold up to tire changing and reg. usage compared to powdercoat. I want to color match my wheel's to the bike and don't think the powder coat will match.

Talk to Damon at Competitive Edge Coatings. He matched my Blue wheels. I think the only way to get it perfect though is to paint them. The stock wheels are painted and they hold up.
You riding today?:poke:

I think a tire change gone wrong will damage PC job just the same a set of painted wheels.

a crappy tire change WILL mess up your powdercoat. i had two wheels on my old car redone because the tire shop deuced up the centers by using the wrong machine.

Use an epoxy urethane, sprays like paint, more durable than powdercoat. Plus, you can get any automotive color available. Don't have to pull your bearings or seals either............
