"packin" on the bus

Guys, are you always riding with loaded weapon? Why?
Because Reginald Denny was not carrying a weapon.
Umm, if you are dumb enough to get killed by pedestrians while driving your big truck, a gun wasn't gonna save you anyway.....He should never have stopped.
Maybe I'm not up on the whole Denny thing, but I thought he was in a rig of some kind and pulled out of the truck while stopped.

There was a time here in the Tampa area in the mid '
90's that similar stuff was going on here. I used to have to do a lot of work in some of the areas that these types of things were happening. A co-worker was pulled out of his truck, beaten and his truck stolen while in one of these areas. I guess it's just one of the drawbacks to being a person trying to earn a living in an area inhabited by people with no desire other than to hurt others.

He was at a stop light, in an 18 wheeler, at the intersection of Florence and Normandie. This is not a good neighborhood, especially for white folks. The cops ride at least 2, often 4 deep in a car through there. A bunch of fools pulled him out of his truck, and beat him senseless. I'm not saying it was his fault, but if I had been in his situation, I would have driven away as soon as they looked at me. I was living in LA during that time, it was crazy. You are right, he wasn't killed, but he is still suffering from the effects of the beating. If he had been packing, more likely than not, he would have been shot with his own weapon.

I ENVY YOU ALL!!! i I live in Illinois and Illinois SUCKS we don't have those right, But the criminals are packing heat.
I only wish I could pack heat and ride.

Dude, that is friggin sweet! I love my 229 (also in .357 sig) but yours is sick!

Very cool.

I carry a H&K USP .40 Compact with Corbon high velocity hollow points on my back in a Galco inside the waist band holster and a Kel-Tec 7 round .380 loaded with Federal Hydrashock ammo. Ihave had everything from S&W .44 to a Kimber Stainless Gold Match II .45 and by far the H&K has been the most accurate, easy to shoot, reliable gun I have ever owned. The .40 with Corbon rounds packs 1325 fps and 526 lbs-ft of energy.

Could always use a Remmington Pistol Grip 14" 12 guage. Not sure if you still have to have a federal destructive weapon permit to own.

I carried for prolly 10 yrs.I came very near to ending someones life, the finality of it finally sank in through all the anger I had and kept me from prolly going to jail for a few hours as it was self defence.I still have guns, but no longer carry one,I do carry a 31 inch ASP Baton though,it'll get em off me without taking someone's father, brother or son from them.NJ.
