I recently purchased this clutch kit from Amazon.com: Outlaw Racing Kevlar Complete Clutch Kit Steel Suzuki GSXR 600 01-03: Automotive
I noticed that there was very little reviews or information found for these kits. I wanted to make this thread to give an idea to anyone wanting to purchase this kit an idea of the fitment, performance, and other things you should know about these kits. For a price of $89.95 a lot of guys on a budget may consider these kits as a backup or what have you so here goes.
My bike:
2002 Hayabusa
64k miles
Full HMF Exhaust
Power Commander IIIr
Problem I had - clutch slippage in all gears
The old kits steels and fibers were showing signs of burn from the last guy that owned her. The clutch installed without a hitch. Came with one small diameter clutch fiber which you insert first. Then follow suit with the rest. (Fiber,steel, fiber, steel....) then of course offset the last fiber and torque it down. I decided to try the new springs and noticed the clutch lever needed a lil more pull than previous because of the springs.
I will keep you all updated how this clutch responds and performs as time goes.
