ouch

Can't see doing that without a helmet.....BUT when I can do 1/2 of the stuff that cat does on a bike THEN I'll offer him my advise

I am being sceptical that the clutch cable snapped. He seemed to be pretty uptight in the first place, like this was his 1st wheelie. The bike went up like there was no tomorrow. I've done clutched wheelies in the past - just 1 - 3 ft, and I tell you he had too much throttle no matter what.

Kid can ride....

Yeah sure blaim it on a snapped clutch cable...

In the end though what good would a helmet have done ?
Bike loops and lands on his body/midsection ?
Full leathers and a helmet and I dont think it would have eased the pain of a 400lb bike slamming on top of you , right ?

Of course Helmet all the time is good but it didnt hit his head ?

Even if the bike didn't whack him in the head...guys can get scrambled eggs just from landing on the concrete and head bouncing along...It doesn't take much to alter your life path forever when it comes to how much your brain will tolerate from trauma..
