No, it was a layered stencil with resin base (clear) . It sounds like what you're saying will probably work, and achieve similar results....good~luck

I hate to ask but is it basically just a frost that was sprayed into each
lens with a cutout in place of where you do not want the frost IE the kanji
and lettering. I think I may still be able to get the nice clear blinkers
from Mototech and possible frost them myself.

I'm really sorry about the time of my response......however I've been
checking with my contacts concerning these signal covers and unfortunately
production has been halted unbeknownst to me until now,....it seems that the
states DMV's have outlawed these and went after the manufacturer when they
could rarely catch the bike owners.... so regretfully I have bad news
for my spares and for your efforts to get them as well. I'm sorry...I've
checked all of my people and they just aren't available anywhere anymore.

front blinkers the clear ones with the Busa Kanji. Can you tell me where I
can get some. I have been looking at getting clear ones but I saw the pics
of your bike at Daytona bike week and had to have them. Any info would be
