One for the old car guys

another shot of the Magnum........... can't remember what year this care was.

But condition wise............ it looked like it was a couple of months old....

And I'm really fussy...............

1973

I had the less powerful version of this same car, mine was a '74, I also had two early mustangs, one a 64 1/2, the other a 65. Although I told myself I would never buy another one of those mustangs, I wouldn't mind having the charger again.

Well that's what I spend my day doing.............. listening to the howl of big old V8's...

And I love every minute of it..

I used to own a 1970 440RT Dodge Charger............ which I spent five years rebuilding.............

And then came the day it had to be sold..........

The price of having a family..........

Some very soon I hope to pick up something else.....

But the price range on these things in this country has rocketed over the past two years.....

none of these cars, I have shown you that are for sale were under 20,000 euro...

So any of you that have a mind for export............... it can be a very lucrative business, even for restoration projects..

A friend of mine that I worked for years ago as paint and body tech has a 1964 1/2 Mustang couldn't believe it when he said it was actually a half year but it was.Still has it to this day thing is prestine never drives it . Just goes out and cranks it up and wax's it.
Most of these are never driven in daily use either.....

Usually just taking out in fine weather and drove to carshows.

But in my opinion that the only way to keep them....

I love them all.

that caddy rag top has my eye!

When I think back on the cars I have owned I want to cry. Really cry.

That one was beautiful....

There is lot of them over here..........

And there are all very well kept.......

I would imagine at some point there is a good chance, a lot of them will end up going back to their homeland...
where they belong..

Well..that is not the case. Most of these old rides are in fact leaving the USA. Man..is that about a 62-64 caddy?

Most of them leaving the US.............. that's a real sin.

After all their part of your automobile heritage..

But they are cherished over here........
