On-line gear purchases...

There have been several instances that I have gone to the place where I purchased my bike and told them about prices that I could buy stuff elsewhere to which they either matched or even beat the prices I was getting.  It's atleast worth a phone call, just make sure you have info such as where, how much, and what it will cost after shipping.  Most of the time, the price of parts are regulated so that everyone buys them at the same wholesale price, even the people that have them on Ebay.  It is only natural that the dealer will then add prohit and overhead on top of that price.  Don't be afraid to ask for a lower price.  The worst that will happen is they say no, however they will not be getting your business.
