I've seen how much the stealerships are selling helmets and gear for and believe I can get the gear much cheaper on-line.

Buying the Busa next month (Cran/Black or LE) and I need everything: helmet, leather jacket, gloves, body armor pants, Draggin Jeans, boots/motorcycle safe shoes.

What are some good on-line retailers and any recommendations for said equipment would be helpful?

Here's what I'm looking to get as of now:
Helmet - Arai (expensive, but fits my XL "round" head best).
Jacket - Breathable leather (if there is such a thing-in FL).
Gloves - Leather here again w/ some knuckle guards.
Pants - Draggin Jeans
Pant armor - Alpine or Bohn w/ mesh
Feet: Leather boots or motorcycle specific shoes (no Power Ranger boots).

Thanks for the help everyone.

I haven't bought everything I wear from them but some items I have and their customer service is hard to beat. You might want to rethink the draggin jeans idea. IMO, those and even leather may be your friend but ARMOR is your saviour.

I would wear armor pants under the Draggin Jeans. Draggin Jeans are good for sliding but have no armor, hence the pant armor underneath.

Thanks everyone. I'll check them out and let you know if I find some incredible deals.

Any others that haven't been mentioned?

I heard Draggin jeans were a hard fit and went with leather from Newenough. Here's a few others in addition:

Draggin Jeans have optional CE rated knee armor available for about $20 more. It attaches to the Kevlar with velcro. Don't know how well it will stay in place, but it'll definitely be there for the first and most brutal blow. I don't leave home without it.

For everything else, newenough.com.

I been using them for a couple years and they always have done me right. Plus when you call and order something the people you talk to actually know bikes and are are familiar with their products. Prices are cheap and if you see it cheaper somewhere else they will price match for you. Also if you don't see something you need on the WEB if you call them up they will order it for you. Also now they are doing a program where they give you credit for everything you spend each month you get 2% of the total back to use on anything you want. I would recommend them highly.
