What about Salt -N- Pepa, MC Brains, Tone Loc, and Ice Cube? Check out NWA if you can handle it. NWA was really the first truly "super-hardcore" group. Also check out some Digital Underground. This is where Tupac got his first start.

Man, where you from? Everything you listed is corny, except for Digital Underground...and Yes I know 2Pac got his first on "I get around". And who the hell didn't listen to NWA....I think even suburban white kids listened to 'em.

And Cube...Cube was the man when he broke out by himself.....you must be from the West.....you're still allright with me though.....just lose the 49ers avatar.

man I used to love Mc Ltye until I saw her freestyle on the lyricist lounge. She didn't flow for more then 10 sec. and then craped to the back.(her old stuff I STILL SHOW LOVE.)
 
My partner saw her in Germany at a club....seven and seven tour or something like that.....he said she was off the chain...
