Hokay yawl,
I have a video that I just finished. It is 24 minutes and is 61.6 meg. Where, how do I put this thing on the net?

HELP!

Thanks...

Umm...you might hafta pay to have that one hosted, Shawn. That's a pretty big'un.

I think most of the places that host videos for free have a limit of like 1MB or something.

Is there any way you can convert or compress it?

I don't know about converting or compressing... this is my first vid (probably why it is so big!)... I am trying to upload it on to Metacafe right now. Limit is 100meg, so it should work, but it has canceled three times so far.

Mebbe it's gorging on the bandwith?

Wish I knew more to help you out. Sorry, bro.

'Sokay -
If it does post up, maybe you can tell me how it came out???

You can use Windows Movie Maker to shrink it, and its a free program

I do ll of my editing with it.  Putfile will let you upload a video up to 25 MB and its availaable immediately.  Google Video doesn't have a file size limit, but you have towait for them to verify it meets their standards, which can take days.

There is a site called Rapidshare that you can upload vids to and post a link to your work - they give about a gig to yas.
Its free and its pretty cool - we use it quite a bit at another board I tend to frequent.

www.rapidshare.de

I think that'll get ya there...
