Ok to leave base gasket alone during hg swap

Going with a cometic. 030 gasket and studs to stop head light on turbo gen one. Pulled head off left the two bolts in for the base gasket im sure the base is slightly disturbed just from movement. But I've heard guys say long as the two bolts are still in you can just do the head gasket and be ok. Anyone confirm this

If i just pull the head off, i don't mess with it. I know some will disagree, i have never had any problems though.

I have even pulled the two bolts. As long as the block does not lift. You are fine

Ya job is done seems to be ok

plus you are doing studs
the extra torque you tighten them to(too???) will compress the gasket slightly more
