Oil warning light

Just wondering if anyones oil warning light has came on. I was riding yesterday and ran into rain. After 5 minutes or so the light seemed to flicker and ten was dimmly lit for a while. Yes it was full. And yes i do change it regularly(about every 2 thousand miles). Haven't asked the dealer yet. i thoughtI might ask someone who would know something about the bike first.

Nope never have seen it go on. I have been low in extreme heat but not low enough for the light to go on. i don't think I want to test it out to see if it is working.

Connections just got wet. Next time you have it open, run through all the connectors under the front cowl and on the fuse block, clean them (a folded strip of 600 or 1000 grit does a good job), and finish it by adding di-electric grease. Nothing is weather proof on these guys, so if you get it wet, expect to see lights. The di-electric is the next- best thing to changing out all your connectors.

is there any way to waterproof your wire connections?
i get paranoid that something is going to short when i wash it.
