Oil sight glass and fan on 02

Folks,
Picked up my new Busa yesterday when looking over the bike, pointed out to dealer that the oil in the sight glass was not clear, slightly milky.

Dealer commented that this was normal with all new busas / suzuki's and was as a result of manufacturing condensation from the engine in the oil. he said it would clear following the bikes first service.

Now this sounds like a load of B*&%^cks, but does anyone know this to be true?

I've now managed 155 miles on the bike and it's just thrown up having left it running for 10 mins. ( blxxdy fan doesn't work)...

Never had these problems on my Honda.

He is supposed to be getting back to me

any suggestions

Dealer called, Bad connection to Fan, looked like it was plugged in but they noticed the plug wasn't secured at the catch and remade the connection, the fan now works o.k.

The milky ness has now gone...

All I need now is some dry weather, instead of this persistant rain.

Cheers

Yes, humid weather and cold starts and stopping without running the bike will result in condensation.

Make sure that they tie down the fan connection or it may come on done again. Some do some don't. mine did until I fixed it, later installed a new fan.

Ninja,
Is is possible for you to elaborate on which connection you are talking about in the above quote ? I noticed my fan isn't working at all this afternoon. Almost cooked it. Possible to check without removing left side fairing ?

Thanks in advance,

Josh.
