Oil Change

I'm gonna be doing my first oil change soon, and was wondering:
a) What oil brand and type you guys recommend (I live in Florida)
and b) what type of filter I should get.

I'm not looking to start a debate on what's the best, just curious to know what other florida busa's are running.

I just did mine......I used Honda GN4 10W40...typical OEM filter. I went with no frills, just standard oil. Make sure your oil meets the SF or SG standards under the API.

I just went with the Suzuki brand oil...ordered it for $2.35 a quart through chapparal motorsports....and I went with the OE Suzuki filter as well....I definitely recommed the dino oil on the first change, and then after that you may switch to syn if you so desire....I am still using the dino at my 3rd change becasue I bought a case since I own 2 Suzuki bike (one is my wife's)....once it is used up I am off to the synthetic....As for filters....I will probably always use the OEM....and you don't need to change the filter at every oil change...
