Oil change

Just bought some oil to do an oil change, get home and notice its PART-synthetic. Any truth to once you use full synthetic you shouldnt switch to part synthetic?

no. I used to do this all the time. Wont last as long if you were planning on extended oil change intervals.... For me, rather than buy full syth in fall, Id buy regular oil and then change it in spring or before I winterized.

If they can mix dyno and synthetic, why couldn't you alternate oils? Just BS to get people to buy more expensive oil IMO.

I use Mobil 1 racing 4T from Walmart or O'Reilly auto parts.

The first service was done at the dealer, don't know what brand they used, just that it was full synthetic. Only have 2400 miles on her so its only the second oil change. I put Castrol Actevo ex-tra 4T.
